Every year our friends at Delta Lacrosse put on a memorial fundraiser event. Funds have been used for a variety of capital needs for the association but this year, the money raised will go to support a 9 year old local Ladner girl, Sarah Rodgers, who is battling brain cancer.

The event is happening on Saturday, June 8 at the Ladner Leisure Centre. Here’s what’s happening:

2:00 – 10:00 pm: Beer garden and Mr. G’s food truck
3:30 – 5:00 pm: Alumni game (admission by donation at the door)
Sarah and her family will be guests of honor
Following game: Autograph session with NLL players and Timbr of the Vancouver Warriors
7:00 pm: Junior A game (award presentation 2nd intermission)

There will be a silent auction for coveted signed NLL jerseys onsite throughout the day.

Note that this is a cash only event so every dollar can be used to support Sarah and her family.
