Our little community is now known across Canada thanks to our 13U AAA team taking 3rd place in this year’s National Championship! After an incredible regular season and provincial championships, the team carried their momentum through to the Nationals in Woodstock, Ontario. The team was undefeated through the round robin, they entered the playoff round with high expectations. After a strong quarterfinal win against Nova Scotia, they faced off against a tough Quebec 2 team this morning falling just short with a 6-3 loss. After a win against New Brunswick, the team earned a spot in the bronze medal game and they ended things in the style we have come to know so well – a 19-7 win with a final play featuring a home run!
