Welcome to Ladner Minor Baseball Association! If you are a returning family, we welcome you back. If you are a new family, we also welcome you to the Ladner Minor Baseball Family. Ladner Minor Baseball is a non-profit society created to provide the children of our community, ages 4 through 24, with the opportunity to play baseball in an environment that promotes and teaches all aspects of the sport of baseball. Association organizational duties require that registration take place well in advance of the baseball season. Registrations are processed as they are received and where necessary, waiting lists are kept.
How to Register:
Please complete and submit the attached required documentation
• Complete the player registration form
• If new player – Provide a photocopy of player’s birth certificate.
• If residence is outside of Ladner - We will need a release signed by current association President (required every year).
• Enclose a complete payment cheque/cash for Player Registration and Fundraising Fees
• Enclose 2 post-dated cheques for August 01, 2010 for the Parent Participation and Uniform Deposits (unless otherwise specified on the Registration form.
• Note; registrations received after February 20th are subject to an additional $20 late fee.

Registration is still ongoing and you can drop off your registration to Delta Allsports in Ladner or simply mail into; LMBA Registrar PO Box 97 Delta, B.C. V4K 3N5

What do your Registration Fees Cover?
• Uniforms and Equipment
• Membership in governing associations
• Insurance for players, coaches, umpires
• Umpire payments
• Association administration
• Field and equipment upgrades (Collected from Fundraising Fees)
Umpiring
If you are interested in umpiring at any level, please contact Bobby O, Umpire in chief at: umpire_in_chief@ladnerminorbaseball.com. You must also complete the umpire registration application (available on our website).
Team Placement – Rally Cap and Super-T only
If you would like to request a team placement, please state this on your registration form stating specific reasons. LMBA cannot guarantee that all requests will be granted.
Coaching
LMBA hosts coaching clinics designed to help the coaches prepare for this challenging but rewarding position. If you are interested, check the Coach box on the application.
All Coaches must have an annual criminal record check done by the Delta Police.
Volunteer Duties
LMBA is run by volunteers and our Association is always looking for new people. If you are interested, at any time in learning more about positions within the Association, what you could do to help, or just what is involved, please contact any member of the Executive. Please refer to the LMBA website regarding parent participation opportunities for the season.
Refund Policy
Refunds must be requested in writing (email is fine) to the LMBA Registrar prior to the start of the player’s second game. Telling your coach or Division Manager is not sufficient. No refunds will be issued prior to May 1st or after May 15th, 2010.
The Baseball Season
The Regular Spring baseball season runs from early April until late June.
Player evaluations will be held in late February (see Calendar of Events).
Summer Ball
Summer ball seasons are available for Tadpole through Midget AA. Tryouts for summer ball are usually held at the conclusion of the spring season. Provincial, Western and National Tournaments are held in August for summer teams that qualify. There are additional fees collected for summer ball, once teams are selected.
Please Note
Families with three children or more registered with LMBA, pay 50% for the third and subsequent younger children. NSF cheques are subject to a $25 charge. The custodial parent is responsible for signing all forms and for all financial responsibilities. The custodial parent’s residential address determines eligibility to play in LMBA.
