The May long weekend is set aside for tournament play.
(Tadpole) Jesse Caron Memorial Tournament
The Tadpole Division hosts a tournament during this weekend. This will be an in house tournament which will see all participating Ladner teams out for a great weekend of baseball. Due to some players being away, the rules usually allow teams to pick up two players from teams that aren't playing.
(Mosquito)Tom Henderson Memorial Tournament
The Mosquito Division hosts the Tom Henderson Memorial Tournament,
The tournament is named after a player and assistant coach that was tragically killed by a drunk driver at the age of 16. Other associations such as Newton, North Delta, Richmond and Surrey will be invited to enter. The Mosquito Division Managers will decide on which Ladner teams will be entered. Those teams that aren't chosen or drawn are usually placed in other association's tournaments. Due to some players being away, the rules usually allow teams to pick up two players from teams that aren't playing.
(Peewee A) Claude Schillings Memorial Tournament
The Peewee Division plays host in the Claude Schillings Memorial Tournament.
The Tournament is named after a coach that was taken away from the baseball community to early in his life. Other associations such as Newton, North Delta, Richmond and Surrey are invited to enter. The Peewee Division Managers will decide on which Ladner teams will be entered. Those teams that aren't chosen or drawn are usually placed in other association's tournaments.
